Born in 1902, The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, of sacred memory, assumed leadership of the international Chabad-Lubavitch movement in 1950. The legendary results of the initiatives he created and developed which have touched the lives of millions of people from all walks of life, helping significantly to strengthen and positively alter the landscape of Jewish life the world over.
