Join members of the Congressional Leadership for a special breakfast tribute event. Meet numerous members of the House and Senate, as they interact with representatives of Chabad-Lubavitch and their supporters representing communities in all 50 states. This event will help appreciate the continued efforts in education, morality and charity, for which the Rebbe was unanimously awarded the Congressional Gold Medal, America’s highest civilian honor, in 1994.

Living Legacy Lecture

United States Library of Congress

10:45am-12:00pm

This lecture program will explore the concept of enduring leadership, as we mark the years since the Rebbe initiated his singular energetic efforts to reinvigorate a shattered post-Holocaust World Jewry. This academic event, typically presented by a leading scholar and rabbinical figure, has long become widely sought after material which helps understand the intellectual underpinnings of leadership and its practical application to our time.

International Diplomatic Luncheon

"The World of Chabad-Lubavitch" US Department of State

12:30pm-2:00pm

Shluchim (representatives) and leaders of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch movement, with centers in over 110 countries, will join their ambassadors to the US and senior members of the Washington diplomatic corps and international community, for an inspiring luncheon. The effective and continually expanding international efforts to support and develop Jewish life in communities of all sizes around the world are the focus of this global gathering. This event is typically hosted by the Chairs of the House Foreign Affairs and the Senate Foreign Relations Affairs Committees

Global Jewish Roundtable

2:30pm - 4:30pm

Participants will join guests and dignitaries from various regions and affiliations to discuss present and pressing issues relevant more specifically to their communities. This framework allows productive and open exchanges between leading Jewish communal figures and prominent Chabad-Lubavitch representatives and supporters. Important initiatives of Chabad-Lubavitch and local Jewish communities are explored as part of this program.

Gala Banquet

The Great Hall at Union Station

6:00pm - 8:30pm

This elegant event, held at one of Washington’s premier venues, will close the day’s unique experience with the famous roll call of guests and officials from around the world who have joined us for this important occasion. Inspiring keynote addresses will bring into clear focus pressing issues of our time and guidance for the way forward, as we face some of our greatest challenges ever, with confidence and strength.
